rpchat (or RoleplayChat) is the ideal platform for writers and RPers to enact their stories together. I was inspired to make this website after my friends and I found difficulty in using other apps like Skype and Discord for our own roleplays. We needed various features like switching between characters on the fly and playing sound effects on cue for certain actions — stuff to really spice up the immersion. This led to me creating an app that not only suits our needs, but can hopefully be a resource to others as well.
